About Haley Herdman
I currently work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to this, I played Division I basketball at Loyola Marymount University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I then went on to receive my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. Through my studies, I've dedicated myself to understanding the complexities of human behavior and relationships.
In addition to being a therapist, I am an activist. I am passionate about raising awareness about social justice issues close to my heart. These include, but are not limited to, autonomy of women's bodies, equal pay, LGBTQIA+ rights, equity for historically oppressed communities, and much more.
Coinciding with my professional pursuits, I'm committed to raising awareness about mental health and breaking down stigmas surrounding seeking help. I am able to use my lived experiences as a DI athlete to guide my work and my passion when it comes to empowering individuals who feel stuck by tangible or intangible circumstances.
My Mission & Services
At the core of my mission is a steadfast commitment to fostering a therapeutic environment that celebrates and respects the diverse cultural backgrounds of every client. I strive to provide culturally competent therapy that acknowledges and integrates the unique values, beliefs, and experiences that shape each individual's identity. My services are designed to be inclusive, ensuring that all clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
